The Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs promotes the well-being of immigrant communities and advocates for their integration into Denver’s civic, economic, and cultural life through advocacy, community engagement, and capacity building. The Office collaborates with government agencies, community-based organizations, and residents to develop and implement policies, practices, and programs that positively influence the various paths of immigrant integration. The Office, along with Denver’s Immigrant and Refugee Commission plans to bring new focus on civic and economic prosperity by promoting citizenship and engaging residents on the benefits of naturalization.
