Immigration Affairs is an office composed of Bilingual (Spanish/English) Bicultural Social Workers that support the immigrant and refugee community within Dane County. Through their mix of knowledge about immigration policies and regulations, the office provides case management services to meet immediate and long-term needs of clients. If a family has questions about immigration, refer to IAO!

Immigration Affairs Services:

  • Case Management—responds to what the family presents mainly focusing on needs related to immigration, but will link to other resources for housing, basic needs, mental health, etc.

  • Passport Assistance

  • Trainings and Presentations

  • Co-facilitates workshops for asylum seekers

Referrals For:

  • Deportation Defense

  • Immigration Consultations

  • U-Visas, DACA, Asylum, Adjustment of Status, etc.

  • Transportation to USCIS Milwaukee Field Office and USCIS Immigration Court and Asylum Office in Chicago.
