The Livingston City Council continuously strives to promote the well-being of our diverse community, which is comprised of a very diverse immigrant community.  The City of Livingston views diversity as a strength. Therefore, we do our utmost to advocate for their integration into Livingston’s economic, civic, recreational and cultural pride through advocacy, community engagement, and capacity building.

Our City collaborates with government agencies, community-based organizations, and residents to develop and implement policies, practices, and programs that make a significant difference to the quality of life of our people.  We empower our residents by offering space for ELS Classes, Small Business Development, promoting citizenship, and engaging residents on the benefits of naturalization.  Our City Manager has been asked to be the key note speaker in three different occasions at Naturalization Ceremonies.
