The City of Boise has a long-standing history as a welcoming community for all, regardless of race, ethnicity, country of origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other identifier. In 2017, Boise City Council unanimously passed a resolution declaring “that the City of Boise is committed to being a Welcoming City and creating a community where all of our residents feel welcomed, safe and able to fully participate in, and contribute to, our city’s economic and social life.” We are committed to continuing the work and fostering our values around inclusivity.
